My favorite, IE5.5 is missing from your list. Also, Maxthon is hardly a browser, more like IE with skin support.

My usual three Linux Browsers, none of which get a mention are:

• Epiphany
  
• Galeon
  
• Konqueror

I'm using IE8 on a day-to-day basis without any major troubles. Some sites require "compatibility view" in order to render properly, but they're the exception rather than the norm.

I get it. It won't work in XP. Works in Vista. Seems like a fact that IE8 is designed mainly for Vista...

K-Meleon Lite (KMLite) seems quite popular. How good is it?

Anyone use Google Chrome? I feel like surfing on a fast board. great pleasure. clean and light, not stuffy like IE8.

KMLite, as far as I'm concerned, is simply the best browser in the world, it has the perfect balance for me between functionality and simplicity.

SRWare Iron, is Google's Chrome with all the crap removed, if it was updated a little more readily, it would take some beating as it is undoubtedly the fastest I've used.

My vote goes straight to firefox. Been using it from the first version 2 and it is heaps better than IE. Fast and looks good, customizable, secure etc. I don't know about IE 8 though because I have not used it yet but will soon.

If i were to vote i'll cast firefox a vote based on its performance. but i dun like its style (except theme). dont know how to explain bout "style" but just dont feel comfortable v it. mayb just dont get used to it.

Been on Firefox from very early days ( ver 1.06, July 2005 on win98 as I know to) Am currently on ver 3.07 on XP pro with IE7 for updates and the odd site that doesnt work right on Firefox

I used to use Firefox but with Chrome I'm using it a lot more and find it just cleaner and more sleak.

So far i like Firefox but I've tried Opera, Safari and most IEs (except IE8).

I'm a tweak-freak so I just have to tweak most aspects of the browser to my taste.
I can do that quite well with Firefox (user.js, userchrome.css, add-ons) and that's the main reason why I use it.
Opera is a bit more difficult in that sense and IE's more limited in what you can do.
